Alarm disabled in overnight burglary at Bedford County dollar store

Local and federal authorities are looking into the burglary of a dollar store in Bedford County Monday. 

The U.S. Marshals Service says the Dollar General in the 11400 block of West Lynchburg-Salem Turnpike in Montvale was robbed overnight. 

Investigators say the suspects disabled the alarm before forcing entry into the store.

A large amount of merchandise was stolen, but authorities did not say what items or the value of the stolen goods.
