Up to $5,000 Reward Offered After Man Caught on Camera Dragging, Kicking Dog

PETA is offering a reward of up to $5,000 after a man is caught abusing a dog.
According to a media release, the suspect was caught on a neighbor’s home security camera dragging, kicking and beating a dog. The incident happened in the 100 block of Lavender Road near Jefferson Road.  

The footage shows the man wearing what appeared to be a dark hoodie and light-colored shoes and the dog appears to be of medium to large build, possibly with black and white markings. 

The reward is for information leading to the location of the abused dog as well as for the arrest and conviction on cruelty charges for the attacker. Police are investigating this incident as a case of felony aggravated cruelty to animals.
