Nebraska corrections reports missing inmate in Lincoln

The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services reported a Lincoln inmate missing Wednesday night.Corrections said 47-year-old Christopher Manzer failed to return to the Community Corrections Center in Lincoln from his community job.He’s 5 feet, 10 inches tall, roughly 177 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.Manzer removed the electronic monitoring device he had been wearing, officials said.The 47-year-old started his sentence on July 29, 1993 — he was sentenced to 13 years and four months to life for Pierce County charges including second-degree murder, assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
