The Leggett Valley Fire Department is offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to the recovery of a 5,000-gallon water tank stolen from their station on July 30. LVFD posted to their Facebook after they say someone stole the tank around 1:45 a. m. Thursday morning. Officials said in order to steal the tank they shut off the station’s power which shut off its water pump, radio and garage doors. They said this action could have caused a delay in emergency response.
