On November 18 The Leadership Center in Aurora will be hosting the 9th Annual Harvest Gala, wherein we gather to celebrate our accomplishments, look to the future, fundraise, and most importantly, have fun! This year, our goal is to raise $55,000.00 to fund the following: 1) Our growing Summer Food Service Program. In 2023 we expanded to three communities (Aurora, Marquette, and Central City) and we have served over 5,500 meals! We cover unserved meals, labor to prepare meals, enrichment activities, supplies, and mileage with funds from grants and fundraising! 2) Updating Kiewit Lodge rooms HVAC systems to PTAC units that are more energy efficient! Unlike many of our current units, PTAC units are both efficient and can be repaired. 3) Filling in the old sewer lagoons that are no longer in use. This would allow us to clean up TLC property and maintain its beauty! We can’t wait to gather and celebrate 55 years of creating moments that matter! You can purchase tickets, tables, and sponsorships right now at www.tlcaurora.org or call 402-694-3934. Or, if you can’t attend, we are accepting donations! Don’t miss the party of the year!
