Missing Washington teen believed to be in Mexico, FBI offers reward

SEATTLE, Wash.-The FBI is now offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the return of Shelbie Lynn Dwyer, who has been missing since March 29.

According to the FBI, Dwyer voluntarily left Des Moines, Washington on March 25 and went to Mexico by car.

Dwyer was reportedly in communication with her family, however, her family has not heard from her since March 29.

The FBI believes that Dwyer travelled to Tijuana, Mexico and then took a plane to Culiacan, Sinaloa.

Dwyer is 18-years-old, is 5’3″ tall and weighs about 100 pounds, according to the FBI. She has brown hair, brown eyes and a rose tattoo on her right hand. She also has a design tattooed on her right middle finger and the word “blessed” on her right forearm.

Anyone with any information on Dwyer or her possible whereabouts should contact their local FBI Office, the American Embassy or submit a tip online.
