Polk Sheriff Grady Judd asks for help finding suspect wanted in 2 separate murders

A $10,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information that leads to the arrest of 26-year-old Enrique Martinez.

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd is asking for the public’s help in tracking down the man suspected of murdering two people in the past two months.

Sierra Hernandez, 20, was reported missing on Jan. 14, but was likely killed days prior, according to the sheriff’s office. Detectives have recovered her body.

Investigators say they were able to connect her murder to 26-year-old Enrique Martinez, who also goes by “KiKi.”

Judd described Martinez’s criminal history as “violent,” with 13 prior felony arrests and 15 misdemeanors. According to the sheriff, he previously went to prison for five years for stabbing one of his ex-girlfriends in the face.

Martinez is also wanted in connection to a murder at a homeless camp back in November.

“We have been actively pursuing Enrique Martinez, ‘KiKi,’ since we determined that he was the one that viciously shot and killed someone in a homeless camp,” Judd said. “We need him in custody.”

Martinez is described as having brown eyes and black hair. He also has a tattoo on his wrist that says “W7” and another on the left side of his neck that says “Natalia.”

Deputies say he was last seen in the Inwood area of Winter Haven.

A $10,000 reward is being offered through Heartline Crime Stoppers to anyone with information that leads to Martinez’s arrest.

“He is a prime suspect and we don’t think he’s the only suspect. In fact, we know he’s not the only suspect in the murder of Sierra,” Judd said.

The sheriff said because other suspects are still at large, information about Sierra Hernandez’s murder is being withheld at this time.

According to Judd, once Martinez is in custody, “very interesting” details about the case will be revealed.
