Amarillo Crime Stoppers seek info on Tascosa High School burglary

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The Amarillo Crime Stoppers asked community members for help investigating a recent burglary at Tascosa High School in which thousands of dollars’ worth of sound equipment was stolen from Rebel Field.

According to the Amarillo Crime Stoppers, police were called to Tascosa High School on June 3 after a reported burglary at the press box at Rebel Field. When officers arrived, they found that suspects involved in the burglary had allegedly left the scene “with thousands of dollars’ worth of sound equipment.”

Anyone with information on the burglary or those who may have been involved were asked to call the Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400. Tips can also be submitted online or by using the P3 Tips App.

Crime Stoppers officials noted that a tip leading to an arrest or the recovery of stolen property could earn a reward of up to $1,000.
