BRIGHAM CITY — A Roy man and restaurant owner accused by multiple female employees of sexual abuse will serve time in Box Elder County following his June 10 sentencing.
Dustin Brent Rallison — owner of The Rusted Spoon restaurants in Ogden and Perry — pleaded guilty to charges of forcible sexual abuse and aggravated assault, both third-degree felonies, in accordance with an April plea agreement.
Consequently, Rallison was sentenced to 200 days in the Box Elder County Jail, after which he’ll be subject to four years of probation, sentencing documents from Brigham City’s 1st District Court state. He also was fined $653.
The 38-year-old also must spend 10 years on the state of Utah’s Sex Offender Registry, per a note added to his change of plea documents. Additionally, the court granted a request for continuous protective orders for two victims, according to sentencing documents.
The change of plea documents stated that Rallison “touched the breasts of one victim under the clothing without her permission” and “put his arm around another victim’s neck making it difficult to breathe.”
The victims spoke during the sentencing hearing.
Rallison originally was charged with with one count of object rape, a first-degree felony; three counts of forcible sexual abuse, a second-degree felony; three counts of aggravated assault, a third-degree felony; and four counts of sexual battery, a class A misdemeanor, in 2019.
He pleaded not guilty to those charges after a preliminary hearing that same year and most were later dismissed.
