A $5,000 reward is now being offered for information on the person who set 16 homes in Milwaukee on fire. A family had to escape from one of the homes.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WISN) — A $5,000 reward is now being offered for information on the person who set 16 homes in Milwaukee on fire.

A family had to escape from one of the homes.

 Police are looking for an arson suspect who they believe is behind at least 16 fires in Milwaukee.

Another homeowner, Mary Spadafora, says she just finished a renovation right before the fire that destroyed the front of her home.

“I pity and pray for the next person, because it’s devastating,” Spadafora told WISN 12 News. “I hope nobody loses a life. Because this is, this is serious, it’s a serious problem I think we have.”
