The caliber of the Atlantic City Fire Department is exemplary.

Yesterday’s fire was extensive and resulted in a full recall situation for the Atlantic City Fire Department.

We have also learned that Ladder 1 went down during this fire and the Absecon Fire Department was called and is assisting and providing mutual aid in Atlantic City at this fire.

The 28 South Georgia Avenue fire in Atlantic City is a perfect example regarding how dangerous the job of firefighter is.

The Atlantic City Fire Department has once again risen to the occasion and truly shined during this real life moment of truth.

We have not heard about any firefighter injuries; which if this holds, would be miraculous under the circumstances that they were working under.

It was a job very well done.
