$2,000 reward set in PSP missing person investigation

A $2,000 reward has been set in the Pennsylvania State Police’s investigation into the suspicious disappearance of a Lancaster County man.

Lancaster Criminal Investigation Unit became aware of 25-year-old Matthew Whisman’s disappearance on July 3. Investigators say he was last seen at the end of March in East Drumore Township.

Troopers describe Whisman as a white Hispanic male with dark brown hair, 5 foot 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 155 pounds. PSP says Whisman has ties to both Lancaster and Maryland.

State Police say that the reward is for anyone that provides information that leads to Matthew Whisman being found. Anyone with information on Whisman’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact PSP Lancaster at 717-299-7650.
