Police are looking for a suspect they say slashed a person in the face in the parking lot of Hersheypark and then ran away with the victim’s credit card. “The victim and his family had arrived at their vehicle to find a white male rummaging through the back seat. The victim confronted the male who slashed the victim across the face with a knife before running from the scene,” Derry Township Police said in a statement. “The stolen credit card was fraudulently used later that same day at a Target store located in Bensalem, PA.”The incident happened around 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27.”We do have incidents that happen in the parking lot, but this was a little bit unusual, the escalation,” Chief Garth Warner said.The suspect had dark curly hair, was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, gray Under Armour sweat pants and black shoes. Police said he also appeared to have a skin condition “similar to a burn or vitiligo.”Police released a photo (below) of the suspect and are asking for help to identify him.
