Two people stabbed in D.C. incident, one dead

Fani Willis definitely knows how to make headlines, but not just for showing up at her daughter’s traffic stop with an “ex” in tow.

That ex was lawyer Nathan Wade, the boyfriend who she got a job, but claimed they were no longer intimately involved in.

Now, it could be that Wade is now representing the younger Willis and will be helping to bail her out of jail and represent her after she was caught driving a car while her license was revoked.

She’s been front and center in one of the biggest legal dramas of the decade: going after Donald Trump.

Willis, the district attorney of Fulton County, Georgia, is leading the charge against Trump over his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia. You know, the infamous phone call where Trump allegedly asked Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” enough votes to flip the election? Yeah, that’s her case.

And she’s not pulling any punches. In August 2023, Willis handed down a sweeping indictment that charged Trump and 18 of his allies under Georgia’s RICO Act (which is usually used for mobsters, by the way). This is no small-time legal maneuver—she’s coming for him with all the resources of her office, turning the legal spotlight on claims of election tampering, conspiracy, and racketeering.

While Trump has his hands full with other cases across the country, Fani Willis’ case is definitely one he won’t be able to ignore. It’s clear Willis is playing the long game here, and she’s not afraid of going after the big fish. Even with her own personal drama playing out in public, she’s got her sights set on taking down a former president. Stay tuned—this saga is just getting started.
