LOU 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance and Stronger Together Oxford will be hosting a full day of activities to honor the spirit of 9/11 through service and remembrance.

At 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 14 at the Vaught-Hemingway Stadium join first responders and community members for the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb that is meant to pay tribute to a New York firefighter by climbing or walking the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center.

The event not only remembers the sacrifice of an FDNY firefighter but symbolically completes their heroic journey to save others.
