Reward offered for information on Kansas City firearm theft from U-Haul truck
The ATF and the Kansas City Police Department are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for stealing 25 firearms from a U-Haul.The theft occurred between the evening of Oct. 14, 2024, after 7:30 p.m., and the morning of Oct. 15.The firearms were stolen while employees of Stag Arms and Aero Precision USA, a federal firearms licensee based in Cheyenne, Wyoming, were staying at a local hotel.Investigators found evidence of forced entry.Anyone with information should contact the ATF at 888-ATF-TIPS or use the “ReportIt” app.
