Pregnant goat rescued from 20-foot well in Brierfield

A pregnant goat was rescued from the bottom of a well in Brierfield Monday.

Brierfield Volunteer Fire and Rescue said the goat somehow found her way to the bottom of the 20-foot dry well.

The fire department said crews worked frantically to save the little goat.

The fire department said Assistant Chief Jackson Chance secured the area and set up for firefighter Gavin Brooks to be lowered into the well, safely rescuing the animal.
