On Wednesday, USPS announced that two of the three men, one in the gray shirt and one in the blue shirt, have been identified.

CINCO RANCH, Texas — Two of three men accused of multiple mail thefts in Fort Bend County and the Houston area have been identified, according to the U.S. Postal Service.

On Tuesday, USPS released video showing three men rummaging through mailboxes at a Cinco Ranch apartment complex. A reward of up to $100,000 was announced for any information leading to an arrest and conviction.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The video above is from a previous report.

USPS said the guys hit the mailroom at the Montage at Cinco Ranch apartments on Cinco Terrace Drive twice.  Once was on October 17 and a second time was on October 21.

On Wednesday, USPS announced that two of the three men, one in the gray shirt and one in the blue shirt, have been identified thanks to the help of the community, as well as local and federal law enforcement.

At this point, they’re not releasing the names.

The USPS is still trying to identify the suspect in the black jacket.

A postal inspector with the USPS Houston Division said the guys were likely after checks that are often used by thieves to open fraudulent accounts and take money from victims’ bank accounts.

According to the inspector, this is a growing problem in the Houston area. He said the suspects in this case used a counterfeit master key to get inside the mailboxes.

If you have any information about who the third suspect is, you’re asked to contact the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at 877-876-2455 and reference case No. 4384236. Your information will be kept strictly confidential.
