The pure-bred golden retriever was just 10 weeks old when the family of three, Mike, Kristen and Channing Lipson, welcomed him into their home.

Champ is about 11 months old now. According to the Lipson’s, the dog suffered a broken leg and will probably have to have surgery but they are so grateful to all who helped bring their dog home.

“We were blown away by the response to our pup’s journey home,” the Lipson’s told FOX 8. “The last 10 days have been a roller coaster of emotion and uncertainty, but faith and people’s time, energy and perseverance prevailed bringing Champ home.”
