Reward offered for info leading to arrest of 2020 fatal shooting suspect

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the whereabouts of a Pontiac man accused in a fatal shooting at a convenience store last fall.

Jaquan Kevante Whittaker, 26, has been identified as the alleged shooter of Keon Keith Johnson, 34, who was shot twice and died Oct. 23, 2020 at the Huron Liquor Shoppe on East Huron Street. The crime has been classified as manslaughter, according to the sheriff’s office.
