A shopkeeper believes he has been the victim of a ‘personal attack’ after his car was vandalised in Sutton Coldfield.
A huge stone was thrown through the window of a BMW 3 Series Sport at the back of shops in Boldmere Road between 7.10pm and 8.40pm last Friday (June 25).
Items including a phone were in the car and not taken and its owner thinks the person who did it has a grudge against him. He has even offered a reward for information that leads to the conviction of the perpetrator.

Leon Silcock, who owns the Coffee Cup café in Boldmere, said: “I think it was a personal attack. “Whoever has done this is lowlife scum.
“I think it is someone that knows me. I had issues last year, my car was egged.”
He continued: “I have a BMW 3 Series Sport and a vandal has thrown what looks like a giant pebble, about six inches in diameter, through my back window. My car was parked behind the shop on Friday evening and I was in the shop having a meeting with electricians.
“A lady who comes in the shop said ‘do you realise your window has been put through?”
He said the damage left him without a car for the weekend which curtailed a break to Whitby in North Yorkshire, which was limited to a day trip.
He said: “I have had to hire a car as they can’t get the replacement glass. I have had to pay £100 extra to get it flown here from Germany.
“It’s damaged the inside of the car too. Nothing has been taken. My phone was on the front seat.
“It’s been vandalised to cause issues and has cost me £600.
“I am willing to offer a £200 reward for information can assist the police, which leads to the conviction of the individual responsible for the criminal damage.”
