BERKELEY, CA — A $50,000 award is being offered for information in an unsolved fatal hit-and-run case, the Berkeley Police Department said.
Charles Feezel died at a local trauma center from injuries he suffered in a June 14 collision at around 9:35 p.m. on Telegraph Avenue between Webster Street and Ashby Avenue, police said.
Feezel was a 50-year-old Oakland man, Berkeleyside reports.

Witnesses described the suspect’s vehicle as a lowered, dark-color, mid 90’s sedan, with tinted windows (possibly a Nissan Altima), which was last seen driving northbound into Berkeley, police said.
The reward offer is community funded, according to police.

“While officers continue their investigation, we are asking for the public assistance to provide information regarding the collision and bring some closure to the victim’s family. Investigators believe there may be someone with information about this case and we need your help,” the BPD said in a statement.
“Even the smallest detail could be critical in solving this crime.”
