Bonney Lake Police Search For Stolen Party Barge, Reward Offered

BONNEY LAKE, WA — Bonney Lake Police and the Puget Sound Auto Theft Task Force are hoping the public can help track down a stolen party barge.

As Q13 Fox New’s David Rose first reported, the barge belongs Lt. Doug Babcock, who had just retired from East Pierce Fire and Rescue after 32 years of service.

The Puget Sound Auto Theft Task Force confirms the barge is a black 2021 Sun Tracker 22 RF DLX, which disappeared sometime overnight Monday. It has not been seen since.

Anyone who has seen the missing barge is asked to call the Auto Theft Task Force at (253) 329-2442. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers of Tacoma-Pierce County by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in this theft.
