A man who left a friend’s apartment to meet someone in the parking lot on Jan. 2 ended up dead and his homicide remains unsolved.
Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest and/or indictment of the person(s) responsible.
Christopher Gillikin, 21, of the Northwest Side, was visiting someone Jan. 2 at the Northgate Apartments & Townhomes complex, located off Busch Boulevard on the city’s Northwest Side. Around 11:45 p.m., witnesses told police Gillikin went outside to meet someone and then several shots were heard.
Gillikin was found in a grass area nextthe parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital, where he later died.
