A baby kangaroo, 10 months of age, has been stolen from a farm in Kentucky. The kangaroo, named Scooby-Doo, was taken from Hillview Stables in London on Sunday night, and his owner, Rick Gregory, is hoping that whoever whisked him away will do the right thing, and bring him back.
Gregory told WFLX News,
“I’m sure everyone thinks he’s cute. ‘I’d like to have it,’ la de da. But I don’t understand it. How could you do that?”
A post about the theft was made on the Hillview Stables Facebook page this week:
Angi has bottle fed him every 6 to 8 hours for two months and loves him dearly how can anyone do this, I don’t understand. I have worked hard for everything that I have and haven’t stolen anything from anyone in my life. Also I’m sure that whoever has him don’t know how to take care of him he has to have a special nipple for his bottle and he has to have powdered milk that is made just for kangaroos or wallabies which you have to order and it is very expensive, if he is fed any other kind of milk he will more than likely get diarrhea and die.
With the offering of a reward for Scooby-Doo’s safe return:
I will give 500.00 for his safe return in good health or I will pay 1000.00 for his safe return and information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons that took him. Thank you.
