Officials are offering a reward for the identity of the person responsible for a brutal killing of a homeless man in Brackenridge Park in April. 

Juan Apolinar Jr., 65, was found “lying in a pool of blood” on a picnic bench near the Lambert Beach Softball Field on April 25, San Antonio police said. Apolinar was taken to the hospital with severe head trauma, but later died.

Officials said there were several parties and gatherings taking place in the area, but no one witnessed the incident.
