$13,000 reward offered for information on animal abuser

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is offering as much as $13,000 for information about the person responsible for shooting a German Shepherd in Wellington. 

Deputies responded to an animal cruelty call on Wednesday to find Bella, a tan and black German Shepherd, suffering from gunshot wounds to her face and upper body.

Bella was transported to the Big Dog Ranch for emergency treatment. 

Officials say the dog was shot right underneath the eye, with damage to her jaw.

 PBSO continues to investigate why and who did this.

Officials say after she recovers, Bella will be available for adoption.

Anyone with information about what happened to Bella is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS, and may be eligible to claim the $13,000.
