WASHINGTON (7News) — A 14-year-old boy was arrested for having an illegal semi-automatic handgun on Monday evening in D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
The boy had a 9mm semi-automatic weapon, officials said.

The Metropolitan Police Department’s (MPD) Robbery Suppression Unit made the arrest, officials said.
MPD offers a reward of up to $2,500 for anonymous information that leads to the recovery of illegal firearms, officials said.
