Large reward offered for information related to 2023 homicide in Jackson

A large reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest in connection with a 2023 homicide.Jackson police responded Aug. 10, 2023, to what was initially reported as car crash on the Interstate 20 west ramp near Ellis Avenue. When officers arrived, they found Sentrell Kelly, the driver of a maroon Buick Roadmaster, had been shot multiple times.Kelly was taken to a hospital, where police said he died. No arrests have been made in the case.Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 reward, in addition to a reward of $15,000 from Kelly’s family for a total of $17,500.
