Las Vegas police asking public assistance in dog poisoning incidents, $25k reward offered

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s animal cruelty unit is seeking the public’s assistance in a recent dog poisoning investigation.

The two most recent events occurred in the 9500 block of Bottle Creek Lane in October of 2021. In these incidents, dried meat with seeds mixed in was thrown into two backyards and was ingested by the homeowner’s dogs. 

The dogs were treated by local veterinarians and survived the events.

A private citizen is also offering up to $25k as a reward through the LVMPD Foundation for information that leads to the capture and conviction of the suspect(s).
