Pets of the week: Milkshake wants a couch and a buddy

The following are the Pets of the Week at Burke County Animal Services:

Syrup: A sweet and playful spayed 2-year-old girl who would love nothing more than a doggy friend to play with and a family to love. She has lots of energy so she would do well with a playmate or an active family.

Milkshake: A hippo-like lovable 2- to 3-year-old neutered male who wants a couch and that’s about it. He would love any animal friend and any human friend who will cuddle him and hold him like a baby.

Fontana: A sweet 1-year-old girl who loves head-butts and back scratches. Almost all of her babies have been adopted, and now it is her turn for a forever family.

Nectar: A snuggly, 1-year-old girl who is also looking for her forever home after all of her babies have been adopted. She is the sweetest girl.
