Reward offered for information in road rage-style shooting on East Side


Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in an Oct. 18 shooting in which Columbus police say the woman pictured here is believed to have fired two shots into another vehicle.

Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in a shooting off Interstate 70 near Livingston Avenue.

According to Columbus police, the victim was driving around 4:35 p.m. on Oct. 18 just off I-70 westbound at the Livingston Avenue exit on the city’s East Side. The victim noticed a white Infiniti SUV being driven by a female was following the victim’s vehicle. The victim did not recognize the woman.

Police say the victim took steps to try and avoid the person that was following them and got off the interstate. The suspect vehicle followed and pulled alongside the victim’s vehicle.

The suspect fired a handgun twice, striking the victim’s rear tire, then drove way on Livingston Avenue, police say. The victim was not injured.
