Reward offered for tips leading to man’s capture

YOUNGSTOWN — The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information that would lead to the capture of fugitive Jose Fragosa, 31, who is wanted by Youngstown police and U.S. Marshals on charges of felonious assault, domestic violence and strangulation.

The charges were filed May 16 against Fragosa in Youngstown Municipal Court, according to court records. The domestic violence charges are alleged to have happened May 12.

Fragosa is black, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He is known to frequent the Youngstown and Cleveland areas, according to a press release from the U.S. Marshals. The release did not specify a reward amount.

Anyone with information regarding Fragosa is asked to contact the fugitive task force at 1-866-492-6833. Tipsters can remain anonymous, and tips also may be provided at usmarshals.gov.
