SEVIERVILLE — A Sevier County grand jury advanced animal cruelty charges this week against a former employee at a local stable who was allegedly caught whipping a horse in a video that went viral online.
The video of a man at Gold Rush Stables repeatedly whipping a horse was recorded in May, and Pigeon Forge Police said someone alerted them to it July 1.
