A Lindale man and woman are charged with aggravated cruelty to animals after reports state they tortured two dogs by starving them and forcing them to live in confined conditions, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail reports:
Kurk Lee Branton, 32, and Leann Bridgette Warren, 23, are each charged with two counts of felony aggravated cruelty to animals and misdemeanor animal cruelty.
Branton and Warren kept large dogs in small cages for a prolonged period of time. They also did not give the dogs adequate ventilation, properly feed them or give them the necessary amount of water. The two were released on bond Friday.
