Authorities are searching for a man seen on video repeatedly punching a German shepherd dog at a pet-washing station inside a CountryMax store at 4575 West Henrietta Road, Henrietta.

The incident happened in January, and when store workers discovered it by watching closed-circuit television footage, they contacted police, according to a statement by Crime Stoppers.

A warrant has been issued for the man’s arrest, and Crime Stoppers is offering an unspecified reward for information leading to his apprehension.
