An investigation began in September at a home in Franklin that she was being evicted from after the homeowner called police.

Inside the house, investigators said they found a “deceased dog laying on the kitchen floor,” a pit bull “so emaciated every bone in his ribcage was visible and another pit bull with “scratches or bite marks all over his head.”

A fourth dog was found “howling from a crate … in its own feces,” according to a police report.

Investigators said there was no food or water available to them either.
