The Austin Police Department is investigating a homicide in East Austin early Monday morning. It happened just before 3 a. m. at the Delwood Apartments at 1400 E. 51st Street. Officers arrived to find the victim, 58-year-old Karen Sue Henson, with severe trauma to her body. She was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas where, despite lifesaving attempts, she was pronounced dead at 3:25 a. m.
