$30K Worth Of Aluminum Scaffolding Stolen In Montclair: Police

MONTCLAIR, NJ — Someone stole nearly $30,000 worth of aluminum scaffolding from a home in Montclair last week, authorities announced Tuesday.

According to the Montclair Police Department, an Upper Mountain Avenue resident reported the theft on Sept. 1.

Police said a neighbor reportedly saw a pickup truck loading the scaffolding the previous night.

The resident said each piece of scaffolding costs $362. There were between 65 and 85 pieces stolen, police said.
