Authorities offer $5K reward after firearms stolen from Cincinnati licensed dealer

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – A federally licensed firearms dealer in Cincinnati was robbed early Friday morning.

In response to the robbery, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) announced a reward for “information leading to the identification and arrest of the individuals responsible for the burglary.”

The licensed firearm dealer that got robbed was The Castle, located at 8429 Beechmont Avenue. It was robbed at 2:15 a.m. on Friday.

“ATF and NSSF are jointly offering a potential total reward of up to $5,000,” said ATF in its news release. “Security footage from the store showed that two individuals entered the business and stole several firearms.”

The burglary is being investigated by ATF’s Columbus Field Division and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact ATF at 1-888-ATF-TIPS (888-283-8477) or email them at ATFTips@atf.gov.
