EXETER, RI — Rhode Island State Police have asked for the public’s help finding a dog who was stolen from the Exeter Animal Shelter.
On July 19, state troopers from the Hope Valley barracks were called to the animal shelter on South County Trail for a reported break-in and theft of a dog. State police said the stolen dog was a female gray and brown pit bull.
State police and the Rhode Island Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RISPCA) has requesting the public’s assistance in locating this dog and the suspect A $1,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the identification of the suspect and the return of the stolen dog.
