Dog stolen from Southwest DC home during burglary

D.C. police are asking for the community’s help to find a dog taken during a burglary in Southwest.

On Monday, Oct. 21, around 8 a.m., a suspect went into a locked home on Galveston Place, Southwest.

The suspect took the dog and belongings from the home before fleeing the scene, officers said.

The dog “Franklin” is described as a 1-year-old dark gray French Bulldog with a mark on his face below his nose.

Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest in this case.
