WASHINGTON (7News) — Police caught a man with illegal drugs and over $3,800 of stolen Lululemon merchandise during a traffic stop Saturday in Northeast, D.C., according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
Officers said they were patrolling in the 3400 block of 12th Street in Northeast when they saw a driver violating traffic. The officers said they initiated a traffic stop and found that the driver, later identified as 30-year-old Charles Mitchell-Baynes of Northwest, had illegal substances and stolen clothing from Lululemon worth thousands of dollars.

Officials said they arrested Mitchell-Baynes and charged him with Felony Receiving Stolen Property and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible, officials said.
