Officers were sent to O’Connell’s Lakeside Liquor in the 6300 block of Monona Drive just before 6 p.m. Dec. 20 for the shooting that injured a 17-year-old. The fleeing suspects crashed the stolen Tesla rental car into another vehicle in a parking lot, causing minor injuries to one of its occupants, Chief Brian Chaney said.
