Norfolk OPP is investigating the theft of $4,200 worth of high-end perfume and cologne.

Officers were sent to a Norfolk Street North, Simcoe business on Monday, Aug. 28, just before 3 p.m. Upon arrival, officers were told two unknown individuals took a quantity of high-end perfume and cologne from the store without paying.

The suspects are described as male and female of Middle Eastern descent.

Collision
A 31-year-old Norfolk County man has been charged with failing to remain at the scene and failing to report a collision.

Norfolk OPP officers were sent to a Highway 3, Norfolk County address at about 7:16 a.m. Aug. 28 to investigate a collision involving an SUV and a sedan. No injuries were reported.
Police alleged the driver of the SUV fled the scene prior to police arriving. The driver was then located at a Gibralter Street, Delhi, address and taken into custody without incident, police said.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe on Friday, Oct. 13.
Theft
An excavator was stolen from a Windham Road 13 property in Norfolk on Aug. 28.
Norfolk OPP were notified of the theft at 8:50 a.m. and subsequently learned the excavator was taken some time between 6:30 a.m. Aug. 26 and 7:50 am. Aug. 27. The excavator is a black and yellow John Deere 27D and had been parked on the property.

Vehicle theft
Norfolk OPP is investigating the theft of a pickup truck from a Turkey Point Road address.
The vehicle – a blue 2013 Ford F-150 pickup truck that was parked on the property – was stolen some time between 6 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 27, and 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 28.

Police are investigating the theft of a pickup truck from a Windham East Quarter Line Road address.
The theft took place some time between 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, and 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 30.
The stolen vehicle is a grey 2006 Ford F-150 that was parked on the property .
