Police search for man allegedly connected to ATM robbery in Southeast D.C.

D.C. police are searching for a man allegedly connected to a robbery incident that occurred in Southeast, D.C. in May.

On May 23, officials said that a person was withdrawing money from the ATM in the 1400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue when a man approached the person from behind. The man then allegedly assaulted the person and snatched the money from the ATM. He then fled the scene, officials said.

A surveillance camera captured the man allegedly connected to the incident.

Police ask anyone who can identify the suspect or has information about the incident to call them at 202-727-9099.

A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible, officials said.
