$10,000 reward offered for information on 53 stolen calves

A $10,000 reward for information regarding 53 stolen baby calves is being offered.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) Agriculture/Marine Unit stated that they responded to 4859 Joe Overstreet Road in Kenansville on September 6 regarding missing cattle.

It was stated that between September 3 and September 22, around 53 crossbred yearlings weighing 550 to 700 pounds in various colors were removed from their pens at the ranch headquarters.

Officials reported that the calves were mixed with other cattle being shipped to the market.

Detectives believe that multiple individuals stole all of these calves by making multiple trips with a stock trailer.
