BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD (WBFF) — Police are still investigating the unsolved murder of a woman in Baltimore County and seeking help from the public.
It has been five years since the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Kitera Bishop.
Around 1 a.m. on May 16, 2019, someone walked behind Kitera Bishop’s residence and began to fire multiple shots into the family’s TV room.
The other people who were with Kitera at the time survived the incident.
For Kitera’s father, talking about this tragedy still brings him to the brink of tears.
The question that lingers is: why? Detectives assigned to the Baltimore County Homicide and Missing Persons Cold Case Squad also have some unanswered questions.
Both believe the key to closing the case lies in the community.
Anyone with information regarding this case may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
Metro Crime Stoppers, an organization that is separate from the Baltimore County Police Department and Baltimore County Government, offers rewards for information in connection with felony offenses.
The cash reward is awarded if your tip leads to the arrest and charges of a suspect for a felony crime.
