He managed to jerk his leash from his owner’s hand on Saturday night during a walk. His name is Viper. He looks more like an African serval than a house cat, but he’s a mix of both. He’s gotten out before but has never stayed gone this long. “I don’t have kids, so they’re like my babies. They’re my kids,” Fant said. They’re very expensive animals, costing upward of $10,000 each. Fant says they’re wonderful house pets. She has three of them.“They’re extremely intelligent and they’re very playful. They’re amazing hunters. They’re very loyal to usually one member of the family,” she said. Viper may still be dragging around a 5-foot leash. Fant is worried he could be stuck somewhere on the bluffs, or someone took him.“I am willing to give a $1,000 reward for any information that leads to him or his return without any questions at all whatsoever.
