Big Island police renewing efforts in locating Kainaliu woman missing since 2011

KONA, Hawaii (KITV4) — Big Island police are renewing their request for the public’s help in finding a woman whose been missing since 2011.

Naomi Sanders, 42, was last seen leaving her Kainaliu home the night of June 6, 2011, Hawaii Island Police said.

She is described as 5’3” tall and weighs 120 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She has a tribal print tattoo on her upper right arm in the shape of an armband.

Anyone with information on Sanders whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Carrie Akina at 808-326-4646. Anonymous tips can be made through Crime Stoppers at 808-961-8300. Tipsters are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
